Wonderful banality

aimee-b-loved:

indefensible:

This is a phrase that I think I invented. It describes the things in a relationship that you do which signify that you’re in love. Little things that seem almost ridiculous to mention, but that make facing the world much easier.

Making coffee, or buying small gifts, or having a pet name, or making sure you say thank-you, telling her that her smile makes me smile, listening to me complain, having secrets from the world.

These are all things that to outsiders seem not worth noting, but together they weave the tapestry of why.

Testify.
